Dear Parents,
It has been a busy week in 4th grade. Students have been enjoying their Wonderful book. In math, we have been putting digits in their proper place- if that only worked for all their supplies! Students compared mixtures and solutions during science. Our "It Was A Short, Short Summer" narratives are complete and will be out in the hall for parents to read after "Back to School- Open House". Since the children have been working so hard, let's let them have Monday off. The Character Counts trait for September is WELCOMING ! Tardies Students need to be in the classroom at 7:40. Please discuss with your child that they should come straight to the classroom after being dropped off. The doors of the school and my classroom open at 7:20. Changes in Dismissal Please contact the front office if there is a change in how your child is getting home. Several days I do not get a chance to look at my emails until school is out, and I would hate for the communication not to get to your child. Back to School Night Back to School Night will be Tuesday, September 11 at 7 pm in my classroom, room 202. This is a very important informational meeting for parents and for that reason we ask you to make arrangements for childcare.
