Dear Parents, We are breaking into pieces...fractions, that is! This week, we learned how to add and subtract decimal fractions. In Social Studies, we thought like a geographer and learned about map skills. Lastly, in language arts, we crafted an expository piece of writing and comprehended nonfiction text. Your students should have come home with a plan for their October Night Write expository paragraph so all they needed to do was write the rough draft, edit/revise, and complete the final copy paragraph! Thank you to the Malwalde, Velur, Hirode, DeBlois, Dinesh and Thompkins families for donating pumpkins for Pumpkin Math! Blue jeans go green! Thank you to all who participated in our denim drive service project. The fourth grade collected 204 denim items that will be donated to the RRISD Clothes Closet.
