The fourth week of school has been busy and full of learning! Our class is working hard to build a trusting, positive class environment so all students can flourish. In creating a caring classroom community, we continue to deepen our connections to each other. My hope is that all students will feel nurtured, respected, and have a sense of belonging so they will be able to grow and learn to their full potential. I am looking forward to meeting with you at our fall conferences this week and next. This conference will provide an opportunity for you and I to work collaboratively to set goals for this school year. Students will not be attending the conference. I will share your student's goals with him/her after our conference. I strongly encourage every student to participate in the fall library enrichment program. Minutes logged for our class Reading Log can be used! Now showing......BOOKS! The character word of the month is responsibility. If I see your child demonstrating this trait, they will get a sticker to wear all day so that other students will know they dependable and accountable. Spanish started this week. Ask your child what they learned! A huge thank you to all of the families who donated items for our science model this week demonstrating the Earth and its resources!
