Enjoying a science lab in the beautiful outdoors! Dear Parents,
NO SCHOOL ON MONDAY! We are working on self management in 4th grade. We have a social contract that the students wrote in the fall, and we readdressed the contract last week. Students understand the expectations and consequences. Please ask your child about the contract. We are spreading love, not germs in 4th grade. We appreciate any donations of Clorox wipes during the flu season. We have discussed with students the importance of washing hands and covering mouths and noses when coughing and sneezing. If your child does become sick, please notify Mrs. Quesnel in the front office. If you contact me in the morning, at your request, I will put any missed work in the office by 2:00 pm for you to pick up each day. SCIENCE FAIR: For students who chose to do individual projects- Science Fair boards are due to the library by 9:00am on Tuesday morning, January 19th. READING LOG LETTER: Students will complete one letter per week (3 paragraphs in letter format) as their reading log. Each paragraph should include a 2-3 general summary of what was read, tic tac toe topic discussion, and a closing sentence. Students have two examples of what is expected in the letter log in their homework folder. Letters are due no later than Friday. PENNIES FOR SCIENCE: We will be conducting a science experiment the week of January 18, 2016 that requires pennies.
