Dear Families -
We all survived the 4th grade STAAR tests. Test results do not come back until the end of the school year (if we are lucky). Everyone has worked hard, and we have a room full of shining STAARS. Coming home in Tuesday Folders are progress reports and permission slips for two upcoming field trips. Please get the signed permissions slips and money in as soon as possible. Exact amount of money or a check with your DL # are accepted. We are planning on a rip roarin', rootin'-tootin' good time on May 6th. Texas Day begins with rustlin' up some tasty grub. After Specials, we will mosey around 4 different Texas Day activities. When the vittles are done, we will all sit down to a lip smackin' bowl of chili. Please ask your child about their chili responsibilities. I look forward to seeing you on May 6th for the 4th Grade Open House. Your child will lead this event on our Texas Day and early dismissal day. Open House is from 1:00-2:00. I hope to see you there!
