Dear Parents,
Wow! What a Friday we had! I planned the day based on your kiddos version of the perfect school day. We worked outside, did crafts, cooked, used electronics, camped out in the room, and ended the day with a surprise visit from none other than Coach Tighe. It was a great way to end the year for me with your kiddos. I'd like to give a huge shout out again to Cindy as she was knee deep in pizza english muffins and elbow deep in GAK (aka - slime). I couldn't have done this year without her. I'd also like to give a big thank you for your overwhelming generosity. I was showered with wonderful gifts for the baby and an incredible end of year present to Lake Austin Day Spa! It is a favorite place of mine for sure! It was an incredibly generous gift and I am deeply humbled and grateful. Thank you for an incredible year. I will be checking my email as often as I can, but Mrs. Richards will have a roundrockisd.org account and my teammates are also available if I am not able to respond to you as quickly as you need. Thank you again for an incredible year. Stop by and see me in the fall! Symphony Field Trip: All field trip forms have been turned in! If I am mistaken, please have your child return the form to Mrs. Martin. Students are required to bring their recorders next week and on the field trip as they will be playing two pieces with the Austin Symphony. Students may bring a hearty snack to eat at 10:00 AM. They will not be eating lunch until they return to school. Please be sure to send a disposable drink and lunch as the cafeteria will be closed when we return to CCE.
