Dear Parents,
I hope you all enjoyed the snow yesterday evening! It was so beautiful as it was falling from the sky, and it really made Austin look like a Winter Wonderland! We had a great time enjoying the snow together this morning also! This week the students participated in Robolab. It is always a memorable day of fun, exploration, and learning. The students built and programmed rovers that were able to explore new planets. They then programmed their rovers to use bumper sensors to make its way out of a maze and light sensors to follow a given path. It always amazes me what they create. Thank you to all the parent volunteers for being there to offer some hands on support. It is always needed and very appreciated! I truly hope you have enjoyed seeing all the posts of your kids, their experiences, and their learning on See Saw. If you have not yet signed up, please contact me and I will be more than happy to get you started. The students all really love to see your comments on their work and pics. Since my daughter started preschool, the teacher uses a similar sight to send pics once a week. It really motivated me to do the same for my parents. My goal this year was to implement See Saw in the room, and my goal for next semester is to have the students more independent at posting their work. Please feel free to hold me accountable to that goal! I desire is for you to feel more connected and a part of your child's everyday learning and experiences!
